The City of San Diego Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to offer a FREE Summer event for Families in Carmel Valley, Torrey Hills and Pacific Highlands Ranch! The Summer Kick Off Party is on Sunday June 9, 2013, Noon-4PM at Ocean Air Park, 4770 Fairport Way, 92130 (Carmel Mountain Road and E. Ocean Air Drive.) This is a FREE event with bounce houses, face painting, games and demonstrations, food, and live music by Clint Perry and the Boo Hoo Crew Registration for summer classes and camps is now open!!! The Torrey Hills Spring Egg Hunt is on Saturday March 30, 2013, 9-12PM, at the Torrey Hills Community Park (4262 Calle Mejillones).  There will be Bounce Houses, Music, Face Paint, Games, and Activities! The Egg Hunt Times are: 0-2yrs at 9:30AM; 3-5yrs at 9:40AM; 6-8yrs at 9:50AM; 9 & up at 10AM. There will also be a Scavenger Hunt for kids ages 10 & UP. Join the community for a Snow Day at The Park! The Ocean Air Recreation Council invites you and your family to our Annual Holiday Morning of Giving. Help support San Diego Toys For Tots & San Diego Food Bank! Saturday, December 1st, 8:30am-10:30am at the Ocean Air Recreation Center. Bring an unwrapped toy or bag of nonperishable food to receive 4 tickets to our Holiday Pancake Breakfast! The Ocean Air Recreation Council will be holding its final summer movie in the local park Friday, August 10 showing of “Spy Kids 4” at Sage Canyon Neighborhood Park (5252 Harvest Run Drive). The festivities begin at 6:00 PM, with the movie starting at dusk. Bring a picnic basket and relax with your family, friends and neighbors. Snack and Beverages will be available for sale...
