Library materials can still be renewed from home by computer via the library's web site: click on "library catalog search" button, and then on "Account & Renewals" button. You will need your library card number and PIN number (which is the last four digits of your home telephone number).
The Carmel Valley Library is a branch library of the San Diego Public Library. The Friends of the Carmel Valley Library may be contacted by calling or writing the library.
 The Friends of the Carmel Valley Library raise funds by selling used books in the Carmel Valley Library. Money raised from the sale of these books is matched by the city of San Diego Library System to enhance the Carmel Valley collection for the community's use. The Book Store also maintains a continuing auction of valuable books. Come and see the special bookcase in the Library Book Store and make your bids!
